Important information for Members & Employers from 1 March 2022
This notification is to let you know that we will be changing our Administrator effective 1 March 2022.
The Trustee has decided to transfer the administrative services currently being undertaken by AMCO Pty Ltd to Independent Fund Administrators & Advisers Pty Ltd (IFAA). This change will occur from 1 March 2022.
This decision was not made lightly by the Trustee considering the long-term arrangements that have been in place with AMCO. The Trustee feels confident that IFAA will provide improved services and technology to the employers and members of CIRT and JETCO.
What does this mean?
The transition project commenced in December last year and preparations for the change are progressing well. From 1 March 2022 the below information will be important to note:

Member numbers for existing CIRT and JETCO members will change from 1 March 2022.

You can still call CIRT and JETCO on 1300 200 123. The previous landline telephone number will no longer be operational.

Access to the CIRT website will remain the same cirt.com.au However, you may notice some changes to the look and feel of the website. There will be new functionality on the Member Portal which will be available soon.
Some services will be affected from 1 March 2022
To ensure a successful transfer of both employer and member accounts to the new administrator, some necessary steps are required to be taken.
From 5pm (AEST) 28 February 2022 until 7 March 2022 some transactions will be limited on CIRT accounts. This will impact contributions, benefits and account updates during this period.
However, if you have an urgent request, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or 1300 200 123 so that we can assist you.
|Updating member details via the Member Portal
The Member Portal will be operational later in March 2022. As your membership number will change you will be issued with a new password to access the Member Portal. This will be sent to you via a separate communication. In the interim period, you can contact us via email or by phoning 1300 200 123 if you wish to make changes to your account.
We will continue to accept employer contributions to CIRT and JETCO. If there are any contributions that cannot be allocated by 5pm (AEST) on 28 February 2022 these will be forwarded to the new administrator for processing after 7 March 2022.
The Employer Portal will be available later in March. We will notify you when you are able to make contributions for CIRT and JETCO through the Portal on the CIRT website. Should you need to provide your contribution advice before the new portal has been launched, please email email@example.com.
